Official Course launch on 21.04.2023
After the successful pilot phase of the Remote.EDU course "Mastering online assessment? A practical guide for the first steps" that took place last month, we are delighted to announce the official launch of the course (licensed with CC-BY-SA) on the 21st April 2023.
You are kindly invited to get to know the course in a webinar on Friday, the 21st April 2023, 11am-12pm (UTC+2) (in English), offered by the project coordinator (FAU).

Course piloting of the open online course in March
We are happy to announce that the Remote.EDU team is intensively working on the freely accessible online training course on the topic of online assessment.
The piloting phase takes place from 1 to 29 March 2023 with a launch of the course expected at the end of April 2023. If you are interested in participating, please write to isabella.dobler@ili.fau.de. Either one selected module or the whole course (4 modules) can be piloted over a period of 4 weeks, depending on your individual demand and time capacity.

Einladung zum Digital Lunch Break: "Digitale Prüfungen an Hochschulen international. Das EU-Projekt Remote.EDU"
Durch die Covid-19 Pandemie liegt der bildungspolitische und gesellschaftliche Fokus insbesondere auf dem digitalen Lehren und Lernen. Demgegenüber mangelt es an Wissen und Erfahrungen in der Durchführung von digitalen Prüfungsszenarien – und das, obwohl Prüfungen zumeist formale Lehr-Lern-Prozesse abschließen und Teil der Kursgestaltung sind.
Das Projekt remote.EDU zielt darauf ab, Lehrende bei der Gestaltung, Planung und Durchführung von digitalen Prüfungen zu unterstützen und online Assessment im europäischen Raum zu fördern. Hierfür wurden bereits zwei Studien zur digitalen Prüfungspraxis an vier beteiligten Partneruniversitäten (Deutschland, Belgien, Spanien, Türkei) durchgeführt. Weitere Ziele des Projektes sind die Entwicklung einer digitalen Entscheidungshilfe für Lehrende bei der Wahl für ein geeignetes digitales Prüfungsszenario, ein Online Kurs mit prüfungsdidaktischen, organisatorischen und praktischen Hilfestellungen sowie ein Instrument für die Erstellung von digitalen Prüfungen bei virtueller Mobilität.
In diesem einstündigen Webinar wird das EU-Projekt remote.EDU vorgestellt und aktuelle Studienergebnisse zur digitalen Prüfungspraxis aus den vier Partnerländern diskutiert. Während des Webinars werden alle Teilnehmer*innen dazu eingeladen, zur inhaltlichen Entwicklung des Projekts beizutragen, indem sie ihr Wissen und ihre Erfahrungen teilen.

ONLINE PANEL DISCUSSION: The Future of Online Assessment in Higher Education

Free online event to discuss the results of the evaluation survey study on higher education instructors, students and administrators’ perspectives on online assessment in the four partner institutions involved in the Erasmus+ project Remote.EDU. Empower teachers for remote online assessment in higher education.
We kindly invite higher education instructors, students and administrators from FAU, KU Leuven, METU and UdL, as well as other higher education institutions, to take part in the discussion of the results as practice experts and contribute to develop meaningful instruments and a professional development course on online assessment for higher education instructors.
